Why should I hire a professional designer instead of just buying furniture myself?
Interior design is about more than just buying furniture; we have studied design theory so you don’t have to. We offer a cohesive result and a stress-free process, an investment that avoids the expensive guesswork of doing it alone.
What is included in the initial consultation?
We provide a complimentary initial consultation, typically held via phone or Zoom, to discuss your project goals, budget, and timeline. It’s an essential first step to align on your vision and ensure our approach is the perfect fit for your home before any design work begins.
Why design for ADHD and neurodiversity?
We believe a home should be a sanctuary, not a source of stress. For the neurodiverse brain, standard home layouts often contribute to sensory overload and daily frustration. As qualified ADHD coaches, we work methodically to align your physical environment with your cognitive needs. Our strategies support memory, focus, and emotional regulation, turning your home into a tool for success rather than a source of overwhelm. This approach helps adults create a grounded, functional space and provides families with a calm, soothing environment where children benefit from clear organization and structure, away from overstimulation.
How is ADHD-friendly design different from standard interior design?
We prioritize a blend of aesthetics and function based on our deep understanding of ADHD and other neurodiversities. As qualified ADHD coaches, we work methodically to reduce “visual clutter” and decision fatigue. This promotes and helps maintaining focus whilst providing organization and structure that are built directly into the home.
What do your home organisation services involve?
We tackle physical clutter by creating logical, easy to maintain systems for your daily life. Because we don’t use a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, this service perfectly suits both neurodivergent and neurotypical clients. We simply apply different organisational concepts tailored to how you live.
I’m completely overwhelmed by my space. Where do we even start?
That feeling of paralysis is very common. We start by identifying the individual struggles causing the most daily friction, and we break projects down into small, manageable micro-tasks so you never have to navigate the overwhelm alone. Even your “mess” gives us valuable data; it shows us where current systems are breaking down. This approach helps you move past overwhelm and creates a calm, organized environment where to recharge and unwind.
Do I need to have a clear idea of my “style” before we meet?
Not at all. We believe your style is often hidden in the details of your daily life. Part of our expertise is using professional intuition to observe your natural preferences and translate them into a design direction. It is our job to distill those subtle clues into a cohesive aesthetic.
I have a few sentimental pieces I love. Can you incorporate them into a new design?
Absolutely. We love incorporating the pieces that tell your story. We believe it’s right that your home feels personal rather than like a showroom, so we ensure your treasured items are integrated intentionally into the new design.
How much involvement is expected from me during the process?
As much or as little as you like. Some clients enjoy being involved in every detail, while others prefer to hand over the vision and wait for the final reveal. We’ll establish a communication style that works for you at the start to ensure you feel informed without feeling overwhelmed.
Your most significant involvement happens at the very beginning, where we take a comprehensive brief and ask many questions to ensure we fully understand your vision. Following that, you will be involved during the presentation of our design ideas and any necessary revisions. We want you to feel confident throughout, while we handle the day-to-day management of the project.
What happens if I’m not sure about the initial design concepts you present?
Design is a collaborative process. If the initial concepts don’t quite resonate, we use your feedback to refine the direction. We include a set number of revisions in our process to ensure we tweak the details until the design feels exactly right for you.
How is the project budget determined and managed?
We start with an honest conversation about your investment from the outset. Once the scope of work is defined, we provide a detailed breakdown of costs. Throughout the process, we keep you informed of all expenditures so there are no surprises, ensuring every pound is spent intentionally to achieve the best possible result.
What happens if there are “surprises” or changes once the work has already started?
Renovations can reveal the unexpected. To manage this, we discuss contingency plans during the initial briefing stage to ensure we’re all on the same page regarding time, resources, and deadlines from the start. Should a surprise arise on-site, our role is to troubleshoot it before it becomes your stress, working directly with the trades to find solutions that protect the design and keep the project moving.
Do you work with your own contractors and trades, or do I need to find them?
We have a network of trusted tradespeople we can recommend and work with. Because they operate independently rather than for us directly, we need to make prior arrangements to ensure their availability for your project. Alternatively, you are welcome to appoint your own contractors. In either case, we work closely with the team on-site to ensure the design is executed perfectly.
Do you handle the sourcing, ordering, and delivery of all furniture and materials?
We can manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing and placing orders to coordinating deliveries and tracking items. This allows us to ensure every piece arrives as planned and on schedule for your project.
Do you offer “consultation only” services for those who want to manage their own projects?
Yes, we offer design consultations for clients who need professional guidance but prefer to manage the execution themselves. Whether you need help with a specific room layout, colour palette, or general design advice, a consultation provides the expert insight you need to move forward with confidence.
Can you provide 3D renderings or visualizations of the proposed design?

Can you design commercial spaces?
Our expertise primarily lies in residential projects due to our passion for creating personalized and intimate spaces. However, we also extend our design and styling services to homes away from home, including Airbnb, short, and long-term rentals.
Is it true that interior designers receive trade discounts?
Yes! As industry professionals, we have secured exclusive trade pricing across a wide network of suppliers. Whenever possible, and where the supplier’s terms allow, we happily pass these discounts directly on to you to help stretch your budget further.
